Adele 'Squeaky' Langlois (Age 23)
'Squeaky' is appropriately nick-named as, unlike most rugby playing women, she neither drinks nor smokes. Whilst this came as a great shock to the rest of us, it doesn't seem to effect her sense of humour nor ability to play! She's been playing rugby for over four years now and has joined the team as Fly Half and was recently appointed team captain. She's fast but not as fast as Terrier when it comes to getting to the bar after training. |
Julie 'TP' Vickerman (Age 32)
Julie 'TP', well the only thing I can say about TP, who plays at Inside Centre, is that she certainly gives it her all. I wouldn't stand in front of her in the rush for the January sales . . . as far as TP's concerned there is no alternative to going forward and bashing your opponents. Her aggression on the field is a far cry from the doting mum personna when she's with her lovely daughter Eden. Unfortunately TP's out with a knee injury for the next few months which is very unfortunate as she's been training so hard and would have been an incredible asset in the forthcoming tournament. Good luck with your recovery Ju - all the girls send their love.

Debbie 'Terrier' Reynolds (Age 32)
'Terrier' currently plays at Scrum Half although she can also slot anywhere into the backs having played at both Inside and Outside Centre and also manages the team. Terrier's been there since the start and her nickname comes from her shear determination to stop her opponents - if she can't bring them down, she'll hold on to their ankles until they run out of steam! She matches TP for aggression and also has a lovely daughter called Ceisha who takes up her time when she's not on the field. |
Toni Osborne
Toni joined the team late last year and can play in the centres as well as the wing. When she's not on the rugby field Toni's other love is playing football.

Jemma Bailey (Age 18)
Jemma is the baby of the bunch and joined us early this year. She'd played touch before but wanted to get her teeth into something more substantial. Jemma has the speed and ability to mature into a brilliant player and is quite at home in either the forwards or the backs. Her other loves are Football and Hockey which I understand she's not too bad at either. |
Linda 'MeMeep' Johnson (Age 32)
Linda is originally from New Zealand where she played 'touch' rugby. Having been in the Island for about a year now, she's decided to mend her ways and turn to full contact. She's certainly fast which means that she could play anywhere in the backs but we've put her out on the wing and she certainly tears up the field as though she's wearing wings.

Sarah Walsh
Sarah is another of our fairly new members. We're just teasing her out of her shell at the moment because we know somewhere, underneath the calm exterior, a rugby animal lurks! Sarah is probably going to be more at home in the backs but until she's been with us a bit longer it'll be hard to tell where we can use her to make the best of her abilities. |
